Abstracts - Rules and Guidelines
Abstracts received after the deadlines will not be accepted! Abstracts sent by post or email will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.
Abstract submission Abstracts can only be submitted on-line.
Submission Process
Who would like to present their work at the Congress, either orally or as a poster, are invited to submit an abstract for consideration by the Abstract Reviewing Committee.
The Abstract Reviewing Committee will select submitted abstracts and decide whether they are accepted for oral or poster presentation.
Abstract submission is only possible via Internet.
Please read carefully all the instructions available on the Internet and on the on-line abstract submission system before preparing your abstract.

Abstract title - limited to 20 words in UPPER CASE
For standardization, the acceptable length of the abstract is limited to 300 words, including headers and acknowledgements.

Accepted abstracts will be available on the Internet latest one month prior to the Congress as submitted by the authors.
Oral or Poster Presentation
You will receive a confirmation-email if your abstract has been elected for a poster presentation at the 2nd EAROC Familial Hypercholesterolaemia-Symposium or for an oral speech to your email account and the time schedule for your presentation. We kindly ask you to attend your poster or oral speech on time, so that any delays can be prevented.
Oral Presentation
Please draw attention to the following points:
Presentation check-list: Not more than 15 minutes + 3 minutes discussion
Presentation: not more than 15 slides (1minute/slide), last slide: “Take-Home-Message”
Please upload your presentation until 2nd November.2009. Additionally, bring your power point presentation on USB-stick
Poster presentation
We would like to call attention to the following points:
Poster format: portrait
Poster size: maximum 130 cm x 90 cm. Adhesive material will be provided.
Please use letters large enough to be read from a distance of 1.5 meters.
Poster presentation: You are asked for a three minute take-home message given at the poster presentation.
Posters can be displayed from Friday, November 20 - Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the poster boards. Please ask at the registration desk for support.
Poster presentation will be on Friday, 20th November and Saturday, 21st November, 2009 after lunch break. We kindly ask you to attend your poster on time, so that any delays can be prevented.
We will inform you about your poster number.
Please note that posters have to be removed on Saturday, November 21, 2009 until 18:00.
